Scratch’s on reef tank

Hey guys I don’t know what’s going on but i literally can’t stop it! I keep getting scratch’s all over my ocean box tank. I don’t use a magnet scrapper but the hand held one I’m super careful to not get close to the bottom. I even started to blow the class with a paster to make sure not any sand is on the class. I also keep changing out the blades to make sure there’s not a issue

Hard to say, but the magnetic ones are really easy to use and don't leave scratches (I like Tunze).

I used the magnet right when I got the tank two big scratch’s and swroe never again

What kind of sand do you have?

I think the issue is that it’s a very fine sand I don’t remember it but it was about one of the smallest you can gon

If it's oolite you have to be careful when using any kind of scraper.
