I’m currently building my setup and I’m thinking of having a screen lid. But I wonder if salt creep will be a issue on top thru the screen net. Also thinking of just covering up my tank with acrylic sheet if that’s the case. I also want to try to reduce evaporation as much as I can. Any suggestions

Stick with the screen lid idea. Acrylic will make for very poor lid material as it absorbs water and will warp significantly over time. It will also get dirty and block light penetration as well as inhibit gas exchange. Make sure you have a good quality ATO and evaporation should be a non issue.

I made screens for mine and I'm very happy with them. The ones that are above powerheads that are pointed toward the surface collect a small amount of salt creep but just spray them a bit with some RODI in a spray bottle and it comes off no problem.
