Im curious to see anyone who, like me has a Hex tank, has built a screen top for their tank? Right now my mesh screen is draped over my tank but it's a pain to remove and tends to fall into the water. I was planning on mounting the screen in the standard window framing but the corner connectors only come in 90° angles not the 120° I would need. I thought about just cutting and then epoxying the corners at the needed angle but it wouldn't be sturdy without the end connectors.
Anybody else run into the same issue and have a solution?(other than buying a rectangle/square tank, which I would like to but $ won't allow it ATM)

I'm sure with a little bondo/epoxy, some framing, and creativity you can come up with something sturdy enough. I've haven't had a hex tank in years, but I think some jb weld or similar would be plenty strong.

Use 3/4 or 1/2 in acrylic and thus screening material. You don't want sag.
