Need some advice fast purchased a Scribble angel which I placed in a QT tank w/o medication, fish has been breathing rapidly for the last couple of days and has eaten less each day any suggestions, really appreciate it. Should I use praziquantel , copper or Cp in qt tank?
Thanks for your time!

Pics! also with angels I like "sacrificing" a few chunks of established rock and some macro algae, better yet sponges to let them pick at while in QT. Clams on the half shell can really tempt them into eating as well.

Are you planning on doing TTM? or prophylactically treating with meds ?

wasn't going to treat with meds unless I had to what do you suggest

Looks like a slight film on body

GIVE IT A FRESHWATER DIP AND ADD PRAZIPRO TO SYSTEM
TEMP SHOULD BE 77-78 DEG, PH AT 8.0-8.2, SALINITY AT 1.024-1.026 AND MODERATE WATER MOVEMENT.
iNCREASE OXYGAN IF YOU CAN EVEN WITH USE OF PUMP AND AIRSTONE.

Beautiful fish! hard to say from that pic what exactly is going on, possible bacterial infection.

I personally like cupermine (chealated copper) as a broad treatment option for parasites but you need to be careful with copper treatment with angels as they can be sensitive, and never dose without a test kit.

I know getting pics of fish is tricky, see if you can get a better shot of suspected problem areas, like the film you are seeing
Maybe others like @Humblefish can chime in with some other constructive advice, as I am not an expert on disease treatment/QT protocol using meds.

Best of luck!

Did you see any white sesame seed looking things drop off during the FW dip?

no, actually didn't see anything that fell off don't think he going to make it way he's acting gotten skinny

He didn't make it just to let you know thanks for the info, you have always been helpful and so knowledgeable !

That’s so sad.. I love scribbles sorry to hear about your loss.
Can I please bother you with one more question, I been not medicating my quarantine tanks unless the fish needs to be medicated (observing ick etc...) Have a sapo puffer with a horn shark for 7 weeks without meds except for praziquantel twice for Fluke I believe they had. Looking at the puffer it looks like one eye has a couple of salt like objects on eye lid. You would think if ick was present it be all over fins etc. since he's been in qt for almost 2 months. I'm thinking prior to treating for fluke he used to rub his face into the crush coral which I think might of caused the blemishes on eye lid. He eats like a pig 2 full clams a day and whole shrimp ( human eat piece). Any advice I would appreciate it, thanking you in advance Carl.
