So ive been using Scrpps water ever since I started my tank a little over a month ago... So far so good... I load my three 55 gallon drums up in the back of my truck and the family hits the beach for the day... When I get home I just siphon the drums into emty ones I have in my garage... I have airstones inside the drums to keep the water oxygenated... I also have a drum pump... so its super easy to do water changes with it right now... just tested water and this is what im getting currently...
Only issue that I do have is that the PH swings from 780-810... but I think thats because the water is being stored in my garage... anyway... I wanted to start a discussion on using this water... So far I love it and it is super convenient. I mean this water is full of life right? It has tons of bacteria that has lived in it for millions of years... Im not going to be using this water forever, eventually I will switch to a mix, but Im thinking of using it for a year to establish a healthy system...
Tank looks great and im getting nice growth and color already out of the corals...
