Hi,

I am looking at cleaning up my sump area and make things a bit more work friendly. My Max S 650 uses a 1" primary drain line with a gate valve on it. I have a CW-200 scrubber and a clarisea 5000. I was thinking drain to scrubber to filter to get the best use of all the devices and remove an extra pump.

My concern is the drain is 1" and the scrubber reduces down to 1/2" in and 1" out so that might choke the drain a little too much. The other concern is how dirty the water will be getting to the Clarisea to meet its time between movement needs.

Thoughts? Has anyone done something similar?

I would drain to the Clarisea 1st. The scrubber works on dissolved substances & can have a by-pass for any extra flow.
