So I have a question.. I am new to this hobby and my lfs sold me two sea anemones after having my aquarium set up for less than two months. Both of them are now constantly deflated and stay shriveled up and one is losing it's color. What should I do?

What kind of lighting do you have? An anemone should only be put in a mature tank 1 year+

How long have you had them? Being shriveled can be a sign of damage from removal and transport.
As long as the tank has stabilized after cycling adding most anemones in a tank as young as yours is not a problem.

nems are pretty sensative to water chemistry, lighting and flow. I ran some shop lights with improper flow and a barely cycled tank on my first nem when I first started a reef tank cause I "needed" to have one lol. needless to say it died really quickly. I tried again about 4 months later after getting my water chemistry right, a t5 fixture and two decent power heads. now my nems are happy as can be. I wouldnt suggest putting them under anything less then a 4 bulb t5 fixture on a tank larger then a 40
Thanks for the replies guys. I currently have 11 LED lights on my tank (4 white, 5 blue, and 2 color enhancer) and 2 power heads pointing at each other so I think my water flow is fine. I think that was my problem too Reef2zach. Lol needless to say mine just died as well :/
