Hey everyone
I recently purchased a sea apple (yes I know the risks, it is In a species only tank)
It regularly has its feeding tentacles out and moves them towards its mouth but never actually opens its mouth, is this behavior normal? I’ve been spot feeding reef roids and live phyto.

If i were to hazard a guess its doing great by now. The pics look great for that long in the tank and youre doing more than most would, particularly 1st time owners!

i forgot about this thread, sorry, Unfortunately a few months back it ended up crawling under some rocks and when he came back out there was some odd scratches on him, passed away the next day, I'm pretty frustrated about it but i know it wasn't bad husbandry since he was perfectly healthy before that. and to my surprise there were no negative affects in the tank after it died, i would try keeping one again if i could find another though.
