Hey guys,

I have couple sea apples inside my aquarium with very healthy condition.

I have a 220g reef setup. Lps,sps and soft corals... Tangs, antiasfish, foxface and chromis in there.

There is no treat inside the aquarium for sea apple to be stressed.

I dose zooplankton day to day.

What would you recommend for me?

I never had any nutrient problem since the tank setup. Because I have royal exclusive ps and it is very strong.

Also I have vortech mp60 and mp40 for flow.

8x80 watt t5 fixture.

Do they like light ? Do you let me know about these things?

They are non-photosynthetic.
They may move to areas of higher flow to feed, specifically over flows. I would make sure you have some sort of cover for the mps.

:-)
I have cover for vortech since my old anemone got it into the flow pump! Do they like zooplankton ?
Add phyto into the mix. And cover your exposed overheads like tahoe said, mine sits right behind my return line
Mine as well !

Just to be clear, when you feed the goniopowder, the two apples open up, spread their tentacle and consume the food?

I dose fauna marin coral balance 30 minutes before. It force them to open up and eat immediately.

Yet aother food I can't find the micron size of; in either case, keep your eye on them. If they start to shrink, rapidly blow up, or losing tentacles, then they aren't happy.

I had a sea apple years ago in a 50 breeder, it died overnight and poisoned the tank. All the fish and invertebrates died. The only thing that survived was a rock flower anemone. Please be careful!

I dosed phytoplankton several times today. I have 2 apples. One of them started to eat. I'm waiting for other one to eat. I run zeolit and carbon reactor with monthly change.
