I had purchased a customizable screen top from BRS and had a bunch of screen left over. I cut a piece to fit over the opening and secured it with magnets to allow me to remove the screen for maintenance in that sump compartment. It worked as my rose head goby decided to test it and jump. He ended up in the sump and I and had a "fun" time getting him out and back into the display. I actually like the tank a lot due to it's interesting design and built in rear sump. One dislike is it being acrylic because, and this will answer your third question, it scratches easily. I had to get special cleaning equipment to clean algae. I will try to take a picture of the sump for you, but it will be top down as the tank is to close to the wall so I can't take a picture from that angle. It may end up being multiple pics and I will explain each compartment.what did you do to cover the opening? how do you like your tank so far? is it scratch easily? would you post the pic of the back sump when it running so I can see how it was set up. Thanks.
