So I already know this skimmer has mixed reviews. So to anyone that has one, and is successfully running one or has, i need to know how to set then air flow. Its been running about a week now, all i get is bubbles, and very little gunk. Ive tried searching videos on how to set one up, but all i find are reviews, or how to set up other skimmers. I am running an fx6, and a aquaclear 70 with two hydor pumps. Is it possible that the fx6 is just out performing the skimmer? New to all this so please wear kid gloves.

There’s a little turn knob that controls it. There are some helpful videos on you tube

Close the ventri a little bit at a time, you should see it change in the cup.
If that's not working pinch the tube and see if there might be a slight air leak beside the venti area. If so just remove the ventri, cut the line a bit lower and reinstall the ventri.
