I currently have a sea cucumber in my 75g that I'm downsizing to 32g. I don't know what kind it is... something from the Caribbean, about 5 inches long when not stretched out. I've had him since the birth of my reef in 2014. I'd hate to leave him behind, but want to be sure the new tank can sustain him. IF I move him in, he would be the last to move. But does anyone know if he could make it in a tank that size?

Filter feeder would be fine imo. Sand sifter would probably need more space

He's definitely a sand sifter... serious poop all the time.
Maybe with a minimalist scape you could make it work but in my smaller tanks there is just too much rock for a cuc to be happy

How about this? ...not sure if you can really get an idea of the sandbed space

Oh... I've also caught him filtering before, too. Are there some that do both?
