Do you feed your sea cucumber? I have small yellow cucumber attached to the rock. She’s doing great, with tentacles out pretty much all the time, never moving… should I be feeding her? If so, what?

Thank you!! Looked everywhere but can’t seem to find some “experienced” answer. Much appreciate it!!

You can start culturing phytoplankton. The yellow love and thrive on it. Your corals may benefit from it too. If you dose it, start with small amounts and scale up. If you dose too much your water will turn green for a period of time.

You can get vials of it for free from NOAA, and that includes the shipping. Our taxes pay for it so might as well take advantage of it rather than buying it.

If you decide to go this route, dm me if you need any help obtaining it.

I have a tiger tail, he just crawls around at night scavenging. Sand bed is super clean with him just doing his thing!
