too cool! Would it do well in your tanks? I want to over run a tank with seagrass before adding anything else to it.It is against the law to collect Seagrass inthe US.
Wait a min. I don't know that. It is illegal to disturbed seagrass bed in Texas.
I collected seagrass by walking the shore of the Corpus Christi Bay after high storms and pick up uprooted sea grass and then grow them in my tank.

I have been growing seaweed (macro algae) for > 20years. Sea grass are marine plants and they are much more difficult than coral. As a Mariculture facility, I find macro algae more difficult than coral.
I've been meaning to start collecting eelgrass (Zostera marina) locally and try it out. I think I remember reading about difficulties with reef temps, but it's worth a shot.
I looked into this a few years back, best I could find is that it's fair game as long as you're not collecting within the boundaries of a Marine Protected Area (https://www.wildlife.ca.gov/Conserv...7530610-what-are-marine-protected-areas-mpas-)Can you legally collect macro where you live. Technically, here in Texas, we can not harvest macro unless it’s on the beach.

Can anyone on here plug me in to some quality grass?

I know Floridapets, Live-Plants, and a few others have had it in the past but I'm having trouble finding any in stock. I was hoping I could find someone on here willing to trade for other macros/corals/ maybe a rock flower nem.
Do you ever post macroalgae for sale or trade on this site or any other site?@HarryC
