Is he in a powerhead?

Is he still alive?

~Bruce

He was alive on the ground this morning. Then went to the powerhead. I took him off. He didn’t move after that. Then a snail started to eat him. So I declared him deceased at 6:40 cst. My local fish guy wasn’t sure what happen either.

Typically you see them loose color in the rear of the sea hare. Typically this is seen when supplemental feeding is required due to lack of natural algae.

I have never seen one with a complete loss of color though. Do you have any hair algae left? Supplemental feedings?

I believe I do see algae on the rocks underneath (greenish) or I could be way off.

All circulation pumps should be covered with a sea hare. He died because of that. I have 5, all intakes and pumps are protected.

Its dying. Pull it before it becomes trapped in a spot you cant reach it. They Don't ink when dead bout let off slime and start to smell.
