i believe these fellows hitchhiked in on some chaeto. i think they're sea hares? they're tiny and bury themselves in the sand until lights off. i was wondering if anyone could pinpoint what species they are.

they were sort of yellow and then turned dark green after a day of feasting in my tank.

Some type of sea slug. Looks like a lettuce nudibranch but I didn't think they bury in the sand.

I would guess an Elysia sp. sacoglossan slug (a “lettuce nudibranch”) too, though I agree that I’ve never heard if these burying in the sand before (the only sacoglossans I know of at this point that are known for burying are Plakobranchus spp.).
