I'm curious whether anyone has experiences losses in the tank after the death of a sea hare? I know that this is typically overstated, but I'd love to hear of real experiences.
I have had three die in my tank (obviously I stopped buying them!), with no consequences. I pulled the body out once I confirmed it was dead. That said, my tank is a mature 220, so I could probably leave the body in and it would have no consequences. If you do not pull the body out right away, you will risk an ammonia spike, which could cause losses...
