I have been growing and offering Sea Lettuce in my refugium for about three months. It is growing great. I offer it to my fish- and no one will even nibble at it. Once I add the dried store bought stuff or Nori- look out- everyone wants to eat it.
I have overlapped it with Nori and tried only offering the sea lettuce for a few days- still no takers...
Anyone else have luck with their fish eating it??

My yellow tang, and two scopas will nibble it. My orange spot rabbitfish does too. But none of them will eat it voraciously. Probably has high iodine which is bitter. However they love dragons breath macro.

Adding to the sample size, my experience is exactly as the OP describes. My Foxface and blue tang will nibble at it but the 2 other tangs ignore it... I chop it up and freeze with homemade frozen and it gets accidentally eaten like that....

Awesome how you grow it- I think mine is growing in Fuge on accident. I had sea lettuce and it got everywhere so I just got rid of it by feeding it all to my tangs over a period of time. Now I think theres spores growing. Is this how it looks when it grows and will it stay attached?
