Lol. I can’t find the mixing directions for fritz. I won a big box and it’s still in the garage.
i use Fritz and had the same issue. I called them to get the mixing directions and they stated to use 2.5 cups per 5 gallons which comes out to be 1/2 cup per gallon. It worked out fine for me so i hopes this helps you..
Do you find it mixes clearer then Reef Crystals in leaving your mixing container clean?Instant ocean. Good and also cheap.

@Randy Holmes-Farley I apologise as I'm sure you've answered this question a million times, but what's your take on Fritz? I bought a box and my reef crystals just ran out so I'm going to make the switchover next week when I do my water change and would like an expert input on it.Normal Instant Ocean (like other high alk mixes) typically leaves a white precipitate of calcium carbonate. I don't think that is any concern and I let it accumulate for years. Apparently, if you lower the alk and pH with muriatic acid, you can avoid such precipitates.
Reef Crystals leaves a brownish residue that may be related to the organic matter in it.
