So my tank has finished cycling and I set the water level between 9.5-10.5” per the manufacturers directions and my skimmer is just overflowing constantly. And no matter what water level I put it at it overflows. I have to essentially almost have it out of my sump for it to stop overflowing. I have also adjusted the valve and regardless of what it is set at it still overflows.
My question is should I just leave it and let it overflow till it breaks in?

The first picture is of it overflowing and the second is where I would have to set the water level for it to stop overflowing.

Turn down tbe air down by closng the valve. If you already been there I would remove the drain plug on the cup and see if it settles down.

I have the skimmer on a higher stand so it’s at like 4-6” of water which is the only thing keeping it from overflowing. I guess I’ll just leave it for a few days and check back in. Hopefully it dies down and I can put it back on it’s original stand. Thanks everyone!
