Can be bad. Depending in the subspecies. I forget the name. But I have some and they do not bother anything. However I have heard that they can kill corals. My seem to go after algae.

Asterina. Some good, some bad. Unfortunately were battling the bad ones. They love our zoas. Its so hard to distinguish we remove any we see at this point.
