Asterina. Personally, I like them. Some people view them as a pest because they can multiply rapidly in a healthy tank. There are several types. Some have been reported to eat corals. I've never had the coral eating kind.

Keep at your own risk. No telling the good from bad, unfortunately we had the ones that ate coral.

Definitely a baddie in my book. There’s no way to predictably tell good from bad. And the good ones don’t really “do” anything beneficial so...

The regular ones are bad, and the coral eating ones are worse IMO. I liked them at first, thought they were neat. Then a few weeks later i had hundreds in my tank. Best to take care of them now while you can.
