I agree, it’s very beautiful! The photo’s don’t show it too well, but the tips are hot pink.Definitely an Echinaster species. Looks like E. Sentus, or the common Florida Star. They are generally reef safe, but do have a taste for sponge(s). As they get larger (7" or so max), they can pose a threat to clams and anemones. It is a beautiful specimen! Enjoy, and happy reefing!

I currently have a 5 inch bubble-tip in my tank.. should i be worried? are these like chocolate chip stars in the way that i’ll need to feed it meaty foods? sorry, i only have experience with linkias.
