I have a new 280G tank with two old Sea Swirls and the second one died (about two months after the first one gave out).

I'm leaning towards not replacing them since I have 2 Maxspect Grye XF350's producing a lot of random flow.

Wondering if someone with Sea Swirl experience can make a good enough case to replace them.

To be honest if there is an equipment that have been long time the Sea Swirl is it. I love the flow and i also have it paired with 2 Gyres 230.

I can’t believe they still make them. I don’t know where my 2003 models are, I’ll send them to you if I can find them.

Replace it with a VCA RFG nozzle. I did and have not looked back

I love them been running a couple since years.

I would replace them , I run one on my tank and it came in handy because both my Wav Pumps died two weeks ago and Sea Swirl was providing flow until I replaced Wav Pumps

Thanks for the advice and experience guys! I have decided to not replace them (too old for Ed to repair) at this time.

I'm looking into the Random Flow Generators now. I really want to run this tank simply where possible.

Appreciate all the feedback!
