Anybody currently using Sea Swirls on their tanks? Just looking for some feedback to help in the planning of my return plumbing. Anybody have a review of them, it's been many years since I've looked them up. There is not a lot of current reviews/info that I can find. TIA!!!

A bunch of our club just bought about 20 or so on a group buy. Not sure if anyone has them in operation yet. I think we all got the Sea Swirl Multi because of the smaller form factor.

No, group buy was last month. One of our members owns a service company and was doing a couple large builds. He was placing an order and asked if anyone wanted to add to the order. Since 6 of us just got new displays (all but mine over 400g) it just was good timing.

I used them for years. Great devices.
I used the older style.

Excellent equipment.. I have been using mine around 4 years already.

Any problems with it? I've read a few comments about them being really loud. Which size do you have?
I suppose when they get old and the linkage gets stiff, the motor has to work harder, they may make some noise. But mine were very quiet.

Mine has been super quiet and is 3/4. Mine is the old version so I can't speak for the new one.

I've been using 3 of the one inch size over 10 years.. Great product and very good service..

@skip0211 I'm still thinking about getting the 1" version. Would you happen to know if the out put can be retrofitted with a pvc T so that I can direct the waterflow towards either end of the tank with just one sea-swirl and not have to us lockline?
