Hey! I have 2 sea urchins. No idea what kind. I'll post a pic if I can get one.

They rearrange my rockwork! They keep knocking everything over. They're driving me nuts. What should I do? Any tips or advice?

My tank is deep. I cannot reach the bottom. I have one of those long sand take things but that doesn't help me reach the rock to move it.

I'm not crazy about the way the rock work looks anyway. I was wanting to rearrange it, but I'm still so new and I'm scared of screwing it up. As it is, one of my soft open brains was put high up in the tank instead of on the substrate, as it should be. (It's in the sand now but probably needs to be moved again to the other, less active side of the tank.) Now I'm wondering if all my other stuff is in the right place. [emoji53]

Ok that was kind of a long rant. Sorry. Thanks for reading and your expertise!

I have all my rocks glued together and haven't had a problem with anything falling. I also know people zip tie thier rocks together as well. the last thing you want to do is have a rock fall on a fish or a piece of coral. cant imagine anything more heart breaking.

What kind of glue? Would you still be able to rearrange the rocks later if you wanted?

when in doubt google it. can't go wrong with seeing what other people did and going towards their route.

I use just regular super glue and yes you can break them apart later on. I also use it for my corals as well.

Here he is, Bob the Builder.

That is a pencil urchin, known to be destructive and not reef safe. They push rocks and stuff out of their way as well as eat sponges, small inverts, and corals. I say get them out! Replace with a pincushion or longspine!
