Sea water or salt?

Unless you have sea water that has never been touched by the human race then it should be fine

If I had access to the ocean I would probably use ocean water (depends on the location of course). . .
I would still use rodi water and make your own. You have no idea what is in natural sea water you can grab from the ocean.

Always some interesting responses to this question.

If you live out past the black stump then seawater just isn’t a practical option. If you live close to the ocean it may well be.

If you do have access to seawater, just apply common sense decision making to your choice of collection areas. You can get a glass of water from several places in your home but the toilet bowl is probably a questionable option.

Personally, I’ve been using King Neptunes Free Bucket for a long time. Mixes instantly, contains living bacteria and coral food and is always available in my local area. Haven’t ever had a bad batch.
