Has anyone tried/ used paragaurd by seachem? I bought some yesterday and began treatment with it (ich). I'm using copper as a last resort, so paragaurd is being teated now. I tried getting chloroquine phosphate, but vets here couldn't help. Just wanted to hear from others that used it, whether successful or failure. Thanks

I use it as part of my qt regimen. I never relied on it for ich as I use cupramine for that. But I use it to treat and prevent any exterior bacteria or fungal infections.

^agree. If you know your dealing with ich just go straight for cupramine. But if you already started to treat with paraguard you must remove it from the water before switching. Mixing paraguard and cupramine is toxic

I'm just not a copper fan because of the effects that could effect the fish. Regardless, I'm trying paragaurd now but trying to get some chloroquine phosphate. As for the fish now, the ich is very minimal and their appetite is still full strength without flashing or scratching. Vitamins and paragaurd is all I'm using atm.
