I've have a yellow eye kole tang for about 2 weeks now he's healthy and eating well. Today when I came home from work I saw that he had developed spots of ich. Someone recommended me paraguard. Is it safe to dose the whole tank with it or should I take him out and dose him for a hour. I do not have a hospital tank. I would have to dose in a 5 gallon bucket.

You can use paraguard as a dip or in a qt. I would not use it directly in the display.

I do not believe it is reef safe. I know it is not safe for inverts. Do you have any other fish? If so the reccomended course of action is to remove all fish and treat in a hospital tank while the main tank stays fishless for 76 days. This will eliminate ich for your system. @Humblefish and @melypr1985 should also have some info for you.

Alright that's what I wanted to know. My Kole tang is the only fish in my tank that can get ich. I have a cleaner wrasse in there along with a cleaner shrimp at the moment. Cleaner wrasse did a great job cleaning the tang the first week but I feel like the tang doesn't like the wrasse because he has chased him away a couple times

Getting the tang out of the tank is going to be the fun part... Lol

What if I can't get him out of the tank? There's just to much live rock to get him out

Going to have to remove some rock, it's pain but it's worth it to save the fish

I have a 125 and I would have to remove almost half my rock lol have atleast 95 pounds of live rock. He likes to wedge him self under a rock and not move
