Seachem PhosNet - rinsing question

Hello. I just bought the Seachem Phosnet GFO product and the more I rinse it, the more brown water appears. How long is this supposed to be rinsed? I am afraid of having any of that brown water residue released into the tank.

What i do with gfo is run water thru it. Let it drip for a while. Then do it again being careful not to move the gfo causing more dust. Then in it goes.
As long as you dont disturb it it should not leech much more dust
