@ecam If you've observed flukes, but haven't treated with GC yet ..... Then your fish could be getting eaten up by flukes, and that could be the whole problem here.

Thanks humble fish. I did wc to remove cp and added general cure (2 packets for 20 gall ).

Will leave as such till Thur and won't try cp again until they start eating again.

so the regal is still not eating after General Cure dosage. Flukes look like they are gone.. but ICH is showing its ugly head... DO I treat CP right now or do I try to wait it out while I try to get the regal eating? ITs still not interested

Both Prazi and copper can suppress appetite - would be best to get the fish eating, but not always practical when disease is already present.

Have you tried the angel with live blackworms or brine shrimp, or fresh clam on the half-shell? Those are usually pretty tempting . . .

Tried. Frozen clams. Frozen black worms

He was eating. But stopped when I noticed flukes. Hasn't eaten since

He perks up but doesn't bite. But the ick is getting worst

If the ich is getting worse, you can use copper, CP (Chloroquine Phosphate, only available by veterinary prescription) or TTM (Tank Transfer Method). TTM is labor-intensive, but chemical-free. You may not have the luxury of waiting for the fish to begin eating.

If you can get live brine or blackworms, give them a shot - the movement may trigger a feeding response.

With all due respect to humblefish. I have been experimenting with cp for a while now. I have noticed fish health in general start to deteriorate rapidly if CP is used over 40mg/gal.
In most mild to moderate cases I have personally experienced better results by keeping the dose at 20 to 25 mg/ gal. And breaking the dose over few days.
Just my personal observation and experience.
A bit late but to OP original question, prime is ok with CP.
Lately I have been experimenting with CP and coppersafe together at CP 20mg/g and coppersafe at 0.5. Been very successful on tangs, clowns, damsels. Not good for anthias or hippo tang or cardinals or wrasse.

Btw I have purchased 1 kilo of CP if someone needs it I'll send some at only shipping cost. It expires Sept 2018.

Can you get live littleneck clams? That is pretty much all my regal will eat, besides a couple of flakes here and there.

Also I've read and experienced that a sick regal often won't eat. I would start treatment for the ich as soon as you are able.

Thanks for all the advice guys. But the regal passed. Sad finding this morning
