Is it worth getting Seachem Purigen?

Aquarium Chemical Filter Media: Seachem Purigen

Someone recommended it to me.

They said that they use GFO for Phosphates and Purigen for Nitrates.

I read the label and it says that it gets rid of not only Nitrates though but also Ammonia and Nitrite.

Another great thing about it is that it cam be reused.

You just soak it in Bleach overnight and it Regenerates itself.

What do you guys think of this product?

It does show remarkable effectiveness. I only stopped using it (in my FW tank) because I lost the media bag. You have to use a special bag with very very fine mesh.

I have it and my nitrates stay between 5-10. You can recharge it with bleach and then soak it in some Seachem Prime to neutralize the bleach. However, this bleach freaks me out a little bit so I plan to just buy new as it's not expensive.
