i want to put out a word of caution about this glue. It does a really good job at gluing corals. However, as I was gluing some things together a piece of wet glue was carried off in the current. I have a small filefish and it thought that the glue was a juicy piece of mysis. it has been 1 week and there is still a white blob on the filefish's beak. I have to feed it much smaller food than it normally eats and I am worried if it is getting enough oxygen. Any ideas on how to get it out? I am not sure if only seachem reef glue does this to fish but I have been using epoxy for much longer and nothing like this ever happened. Has this ever happened to any of you?

Sorry to hear. Keep an eye on him and if possible manually remove, any super glue will form a film and float off in that way if allowed to. I have had it happen and had to grab it before it floats into a coral or overflow.

Any superglue gel product that ends up as a blob in your tank can do exactly the thing you are dealing with.
I've seen this issue posted several times in the forums.
Most people report that it eventually falls off because of the slime that a fish will produce.

I just noticed the fish in particular, a radial filefish has been showing weird behavior. After @Mastiffsrule told me to keep a close eye on it I saw that it was laying sideways in my leather quite a bit. Since radial filefish do have a symbiotic relationship with soft corals it makes sense but I just wanted to check and see if radial filefish normally do this when they host.

Curious, did this ever resolve?
