I got a box of seachems vibrant sea salt. I gotta say it takes a long time to dissolve.

I thought it would be good, but i wouldnt buy it again. Only plus is it has 550ppm of potassium so if your tank uses lots its a nice way to replenish it.

I also dont like that it comes with a bag and its unsealed just closed with a zip tie, this will allow moisture in the bag causing clumping.

Back to reef crystals!

I haven't had any issues with Fritz . Dissolves pretty quickly and mixes well

Pretty sure its microbubbles that are clouding my tank at the moment. But it still needs a good mixing.

550 ppm K sounds not good to me, and that's not even at 35 ppt salinity. :(

I never thought of that! Thats 550ppm K at 1.023 sg. My tanks at 35ppt. Holy cow. I better reduce it then with reef crystals. (I filled the tank with ro/di and used seachems vibrant sea, now im filling the sump, about 50 gallons of water, so ill use reef crystals with the hopes of reducing potassium).
