I just switched over to this salt about a month or so ago. I tested my first batch back then and potassium only tested at 400 but now I’m seeing test results in the 420 to 450 range on a few different Aquariums. I used to add potassium as a supplement but now I obviously don’t need to and I feel like it may be too high.
Anyone else using this salt or maybe see an issue with elevated potassium?

I don't use that salt but I would not worry about potassium in the 420-450 range. Many people (including @mrsaltwatertank) recommend elevated potassium to bring out SPS colors, even up into the 500 range.

If your mixing it correctly at 35ppt their salt actually has 550ppm potassium iirc. Its best to use it just for boosting potassium by waterchanges imo.

I switched off of it. No reason to run super high K. I wish Seachem would lower the K in this to a natural level. 400 is the spot. Been keeping tanks there for many years. The old Reef Salt was amazing.
