I decided to switch salt brands as my LFS was carrying this at a decent price. I was not happy with the Live Aquaria salt I had been using for a couple years and wanted to try it.
This is my second water change with it. It mixes cloudy and NOT clear. The box says not to over mix.....not sure what that means as Water in my tanks turn over 92x or so an hr. I keep only SPS corals.
Test results are with Salifert test kits and Refractometer.
1.025

DKH 7.5
Cal 410
Mag 1200
K 400
Not bad results. Potassium was great at 400 even thought they say it has 500. I am glad it didn’t. Mag was low for me. I like it around 1350-1400
DKH was ok to at 7.5 as I keep it at 7.8-7.9
I do wish it mixed clear. First mix I personally have used that doesn’t. I miss the Seachem Reef Salt. I used it for over 7 years and loved it.

Have you noticed any issues putting the water in when it's not clear? I got a box of this a while back and it drives me up the wall.

I have been using this salt about a year, I let mine mix a few days and it's clear when I use it. I never read the box and don't know why they say don't over mix.

So I have been using this salt for about a month now and tested potassium today and it was at 440 which is much higher than I usually keep it at. 400 has always been my target range. I attribute this high level to the new salt.
Anyone else running this salt with these K results. The box says 500 but it tested at 400 on a fresh batch. Not sure if this high K will negatively impact sps corals.

I got some of this in and after I use up the rest of the LiveAquaria salt I am going to start using this salt so it should only be a week or two. I believe that the numbers listed on the box are for a gravity of 1.023 so i would imagine that the levels will be a lttle lower at 1.025-26 then stated on the box.

I am planning on mixing up about 80 gallons worth and then sending in a ICP test to see where everything falls. I always filter my new saltwater through a filter sock also as it mixes so I dont think I will have cloudiness issues. I am hoping that the numbers come back where I would like to see them as i really would like to use this salt mix in the future and not have to change again. I will update the post here after I get everything done.

I tried it for the first time about a month or so ago, bought a 7 kg box. I really didn't like it. The water apparently looks clear in the recipient after mixing but there is a LOT of residues everywhere (way more than Red Sea for example which is known to leave residues but at the bottom) and it makes the water to get quite cloudy when pumped back, it takes a couple hours to get back to normal and I'm doing just 20% changes every 15 days or so. Also it takes more than other salts I've used to reach 1.025. The parameters are not too high.

Seachem SALINITY salt (yes thats what its' called) is excellent.

For that salt, Vibrant, mixing greater than an hour or two seems to cloud the water. Of course, no heat while mixing.
I mix for an hour and she’s clear.
I mix for 15 minutes before use.
Over mixing causes precipitation
Had no trouble with Vibrant, but was too low in the numbers for my reef, I need 11.5dkh, 465 and 1410 in my mixed.
Using Fritz Redline now.

I stopped using it after about 10 months. My Potassium tested over 500 consistently and I thought at first it would be ok but then I started having unexplained sps deaths. This was unusual to me because I had a death maybe 1-2 a year.
so I switched off if it.
