Finally set up my new toy! It's an Oceanic 45 tech cube with a 10 gallon sump. We built a (I guess you could call it) "stand" for the stand to make it 6" taller.

Filling it up with freshwater to test for leaks.

It has three glass doors on the sides, so it's easy to access the sump.

Sump up and running. I'm going to put rock rubble in the middle section and a sponge in the first to help stop microbubbles from the skimmer from getting into the tank.

It was going to be a clown/anemone tank, but I think it's going to be a mixed reef of mainly SPS and acans. But we might end up putting our clowns in it. I don't really know yet.

very nice sara ! cant wait to see what you decide to do with it... :)

Thanks! We're thinking of putting the RBTA's on the rock on the left and hope they stay there. If so, the rockwork on the right is going to be mainly SPS and acans and such on the bottom.
I'm going to make a mesh top for it and we ordered a 24" 250W sun pod for lighting.

Cant wait to see life in it again! What size vortech do u have on it? U got tons of sand bed for acans...

It's a MP40. Stupid thick glass! lol.

I've added one of my RBTA's and it hasn't moved at all. Still trying to get the second one in the other tank to move so I can get to it. It has it's foot nicely planted in a hole.

Also added a twin spot goby.

There's some aiptasia on the rocks, so I'm going to add this guy soon. After he takes care of them and if he leaves my corals alone, he's going into the 150.

I started epoxying down some SPS and added some favias. It's filling up quick!

Sorry to hear about yours. :(

Mine is really cute, but a little of a pain to feed. Since my sandbed isn't mature, I have to make sure he eats the food I give him. I have to turn off the powerhead and return pump so he can find the food. Gives the snails and hermits time to find the food too, so it's not too bad.

Mainly mysis, but he'll eat brine and formula one flakes too. I also try formula two pellets, but I don't really know if he's actually eating them.
