It’s the string - sea hare eggs. OP, if you only have one sea hare, then the eggs are almost certainly unfertilized (so they won’t hatch). Either way, fertile or not, keep or remove, they shouldn’t be a problem in your tank.Are you referring to what looks like string or the bubble algae ??
