No, there is no recovering them. It is common for young couples to miss the mark but the good news is that they will no doubt keep trying until they get it right.

Haha I guess I'll clean it up then. Yup, looking forward for them to breed again in the future! The tank is a 60gallon, maybe 20-30 lbs of branch rock, bare bottom so water quality can be easy to maintain. Over sized skimmer too
