Hi, my seahorse has been floating since when I got him and his belly looks to be bloated, ive tried massaging him as I have read online but nothing happened and I don’t know what else I can do to make him better. I have turned the wave maker off and well as the filter for a while to see if that’s what the problem is as that is what the shop where I bought him from suggested but there has been no change so I definitely think that is not the case. I will attach some photos for you guys to see and I would love it if you could help. Thank you so much

Seahorses can get bubbles beneath their skin, and in their pouch(if it’s a male).
We have successfully treated a couple of seahorses with the medicine Diamox. So perhaps you could look that up and search for a treatment schedule.
If I remember it right, Seahorse.org had some good info on diseases and treatments.

Good luck

Looks like swim bladder disease rarely survivable. Usually with fish u feed them peas or some kind of veggie food but seahorses wont eat that. An antibiotic or i've even seen phisically deflating with a needle can work but i could never do that.
