hello everyone I'm new to R2R and would like some input on this I'm starting my 27 gallon cube build soon and have been looking into different types of seahorses would like some sort of idea of livestock that are seahorse compatible I hear mandarins and pipe fish make a good match but can out compete for food

anything passive and good for small tanks. Most gobies are fine. Pipe fish are ok but need to be feed a lot, I would steer away from Mandarins unless it is eating prepared foods.

Passive fish are your best bet sand dwellers would besome good choices like already stated gobies would probably be your bestchoices.

I have a yasha goby and pistol shrimp with mine to help with the mysis he misses. This works well.

I would recommend not getting a yellow watchman goby. They can be evil.

Honestly, in choosing the livestock, I think a lot is determined by the number and types of horses you are planning on housing.

I have a Yasha/Candy pair in my reef tank and honestly I wish I didn't waste the money. They just hide in their cave most of the time. They goby sticks his head and comes out for food but that's it.

I'm trying to get some more movement in my horse tank. I hope a pair of firefish will at least hang out in the water column.
