Everyone gets along great. I’m sure my overfeeding helps a lot in this aspect. Definitely recommend starting it’s seahorses first and let them establish later you can add the riskier fish and get them as small as possible.

VIP orders them for me. Parts are deeper than others but I’d say 3-4”. In the deepest part. They adapt.
I’m guess that VIP isn’t just someone that I can go order these from? I’m really surprised that they are doing well in a sand bed that shallow. How do they get along with each other and the seahorses?

Honestly your LFS can likely order them from their wholesaler as I see them often.
they do great. I won’t add more as I’m fully stocked at this point. Everyone gets along well.

Btw they may be able to ship but likely cheaper to have your LFS get it :) let me know I can get you their number

I don’t think my current tank is suitable for garden eels unfortunately. I was more asking out of curiosity than anything because I never see these for sale on anywhere. Thank you though.

I’ll keep you posted on mines. My original 2 have been with me over a year. Highly recommend them fro the right system as once they acclimate to the environment they are hardy and take foods quickly

Banded? Hard to tell the color in the video. I picked an eel up the day before I saw your video. My lfs gets them in regularly. He’s still alive but I didn’t see him for days and he somehow built an overhang out of rocks in the tank. As I get close to the tank, he slowly sinks into the ground. What do you get them to eat? I’m not sure if mine has ever eaten anything. He’s kinda boring since I never see him. I’m tempted to put my peacock mantis in there with him because he may never see him either. It’s weird how my mantis lets some things live with him but eats the others. Your setup looks so good, could you please get some yellow or orange one? I would but I need more experience.

Was fortunate to find this color variation garden eels

That yellow/orange banded is all I can get at my lfs this week too, but they act differently. They aren’t nearly as shy as the normal ones and I’m on day 3 without it burying itself for some reason. Your’s any different?
