Seahorses!

Can you put seahorses in a 30 gallon FOWLR? The answer is it depends. Can you describe your setup? I would strongly recommend on running a chiller to keep the temp 74 or lower depending on the species. You will also need to seahorse proof the tank. Seahorses will hitch on anything and everything that they can in your tank. This poses a risk to the seahorse so they must be protected. You also need to make sure that you select suitable seahorses for that tank.

I would disagree with that statement. Clownfish are considered to be "caution" fish with seahorses.

Here is a quote from the article:
Clownfish meet many of the criteria for suitable tankmates, but should generally be regarded with caution. Most species, such as tomato clowns Amphiprion frenatus, maroon clowns Premnas biaculeatus, and skunk clownfish, are surprisingly aggressive and territorial and should be shunned on that basis

Here is a list that I put together:

Eels and other seahorse/pipefish.

Marine Compatability Chart

I wouldn't recommend keeping eels with seahorses or mixing species of seahorses. As far as pipefish go, captive bred do well with seahorses, but wild caught do not. Wild caught pipefish can carry pathogens that can kill seahorses.

Therefore, there's alot of debare on seahorses lol. I don't wanna waste space in my tank with just 1 or 2 fish/seahorses. I think ill stick to fish only for now.
