So I'm staining/sealing a new stand for my recently-acquired 120. I'm going to use spar polyurethane on the outside, but am wondering about the inside. Any suggestions? I've read about using Kilz, but have no experience with it. Do I just do multiple coats of polyurethane? It's covered up, so it doesn't have to be real pretty....

You might want to check on some marine lacquer it is a great sealer and water proof . Kilz is more of a primer.

If you use Kilz, use the Kilz Latex as its the only one that actually seals.
