Sealing small crack in protein skimmer plastic

Hi there, I have a small crack on the body of my Bubble Magus Curve A5 near the water level adjuster. What is the best way to seal the crack? I was thinking 100% silicone but I wasnt sure if there was a better way.

Weldon 3, if it's like a hairline crack. Weldon 16 of on needs to fill a gap. Silicone wont stick longterm to acrylic

Will weld on 3 work for plastic as well? I believe my curve A5 has a plastic body vs an acrylic body.
