I have a 120 the was given to me, I am still working on setting it up, partially due to my wife being reluctant for me to set it up due to her analness, as she was told by her nephew that they drip salt every where, her words(salt creep mine), but anyway to reduce creep I was thinking about running a bead of silicone around the inside along the top of the frame, to reduce to the weeping of the saltwater around the top frame, pros, cons to doing this? good or bad idea?? I am open to thoughts and suggestions

Ive not heard of doing that. The reason you get salt creep is because of water splashing up there, or bubbles bursting. Keep the water form doing that, and you stop the creep. Just for the record. I don't have any salt creep on my tank rim, and I have nothing around it.
