I saw a picture of a wall outlet that runs 1/4” RO/DI line through it. I will be running 1/2” ID about 25’ from both my salt and fresh brute containers and was wondering if anyone knew of an outlet that would change over from the 1/2” to 1/4” line. I’m a sucker for things looking clean. I doubt this is a thing. But you don’t know if you don’t ask.

I'm not sure I totally understand what you're looking to do. However, you could use a 1/2 × 1/4 reducing bulkhead fitting on your Brute containers and then run the 25' of tubing to your outlet.

+1 on the bulkhead fitting.

You can get a bulk head fitting and flat outlet plate. Drill a hole through the plate and install the bulkhead through it. Put a hole in the wall, run the line, and use the plate. If you can't find a reducing bulkhead, you can use a reducer in line

1/4 bulkhead

It falls under a couple names, John guest, quick connect, push to connect. Also the tubing goes by OD size usually, so if you have 1/2 I'd, is it still pe tubing? Or are you using pex or some other rubber tubbing?

I’m using two of these pumps. One in the salt and another in the RODI for the ATO. So the smallest they go is 3/4”. Reducing that all the way down to 1/4 is a PTA.

With it being 3/4 I would do something using 3/4 pex. They make escheons (sp?) for that sort of stuff to finish it off nice. I would then install a shutoff at point of use and then reduce it.

Are you talking about a Escutcheon? I was actually thinking about going to pex for the run and then reducing it to the 1/4” right before I go through the walls. Then using a blank large wall outlet I could put two bulkheads in and run two 90’s going straight up to the tank and ATO.

Well went to Home Depot and Lowe’s. They had everything except this thing. So guess I’m doing one more water change before it’s automated. Im going to go from the 3/4 to 1/2 right off the pump to increase pressure. I’m going up about 10’. Hope that pumps enough for that.

Which pex fittings? I didn't think hd/lowes sold the expander stuff? This stuff doesn't need an expander. Just either a crimp or clamp fitting on the outside.
