Seattle/Eastside Club

There are a lot of people on the Facebook group "Pacific Northwest Reef Keeping". This forum thread for PNW reefers is relatively inactive and if you want to connect I recommend trying the Facebook group.
What about non-Facebook people? :(

Good luck. I started here as well, and just look at the amount of posts for 2020 in the Washington section of these threads. Very little activity. Even if you get active here, not that many people pay attention to these local forum threads and response will likely be minimal.

Anyone here in the pnw that wants to trade/buy/sell or even just talk reefing can pm me Maybe get a chat going between all the local reefers that would like to get a community going i dunno. I think its be valuable to have some local reefers to be able to just chat with or help eachother out.

I would recommend getting a Facebook account and joining the local group mentioned earlier, even if just for the club. The group is awesome. They have occasional pizza parties, people give things to new reefers, everyone is friendly and there isn't bickering . . . . . I get the Facebook thing, but just use fake information, dedicated email account, don't add friends . . . .
