My recently added Yellow Tang has come down with a mild case of Lympho.
I am making sure that she is well fed, and she is eating like a pig.
I am feeding this seaweed which is enriched with Omega 3 and spirulina which get eaten in minutes. Problem is that it pretty much shuts down my skimmer for 24 hours after feeding, by which time it is time to feed again.
Is there anything I can do as I want to keep the tang happy and well fed with a varied diet but I also want to keep my water quality as high as possible?

The oils stop the formation of foam, nothing you can do about that.
Lets break this down to basics -
a skimmer removes particulate organic matter (& a little dissolved matter) from the water. That's what filter floss / socks do, mechanical filtration. Focus on maintaining this.

Skimmer bubbles help reduce CO2 & increase oxygen levels in the water (gas exchange), helping maintain a healthy pH level (but only if a healthy air supply is provided). An air pump & air stone will do just as good a job.

cheers
