I have a medium sized sebae anemone and I planned to have my percula clownfish host it, but so far he has not, will the sebae anemone be fine without anyone hosting it or will it be stressed without a host?

I don't know why it would. Some clowns batter their nems pretty good, so there's that. Sometimes a clown will protect its nem from other fish or shrimp (although in that case removing the offender could be a good solution).

That is a bit odd. I had a sebae for years and never had any issues with percs seeing it as an acceptable host. Perhaps it’s not a sebae? You may have to target feed the anemone in the absence of clowns. Otherwise it will be fine.

How long have you had it? Sometimes it just takes a little bit of time

Sometimes it takes a while for the clown to host especially all the designer percs. Since they are tank bred they don't understand their instincts right away, sometimes they never do.

I read somewhere this anemone isnt hosted by clowns in the wild usually. Someone correct me if Im wrong lol but I distinctly remember reading that somewhere and deciding to not get one because of that

Thats what I recalled as well, but some above seem to have had success with it.
